Switzerland has brought many fond memories 🙂 He reminds me of the late Dr. Matthias Peuten too. Blessed to have gained insights and knowledge from many Implant Gurus locally and internationally.
Catching up with Prof Chew, Dr. Miriam Ting, Dr. Dominic Leung and Dr. Loh Poey Ling before Dr. Ting’s lecture on Literature Review on Peri-implantitis. Thank you for the wonderful lecture Dr. Ting. It is important to know that dental implants also has complications such as Peri-Implantitis which can happen 10% of the time. It is characterized with bone loss around the implant thread with signs of dull pain. It is more common in patients with periodontal disease and smokers. Nonetheless it is a treatable condition.

It was a great day at the weekend course learning advanced implant techniques from a renowned Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon of Singapore, Dr. Winston Tan. It is my third time attending his course and have gain lots of knowledge in the area of All-On-Four Concept and ridge split techniques. Very grateful to Dr. Tan, SA Dental and Raydent Supplies for giving me this opportunity to improve my skill.
BICON IMPLANT LIVE SURGERY DEC 2017
Short and Sweet
Hi everyone. I just recently returned from Rome for another Advanced Dental Implant course in courtesy of Bicon Dental Implant Company Singapore. I have gained much of knowledge of Bicon Dental Implant from Professor Dr Mauro Marincola through this trip.
It was a great learning experience to learn this implant system as it is slightly different than the conventional Implant screw system. It’s always good to know different implant systems (brands) and in which situation it works favorably to achieve a very high success rate for the patient.
Very blessed I get to visit the beautiful Vatican City and the Colosseum and some pretty sights of Rome with my colleagues.
It was short but certainly sweet.

Supervising participating dentists in Dental Implant Beginner's Course in Phnom Penh.
In 2016, it was an honour for me to be invited by Dr. Matthias Peuten (Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon and Plastic Surgeon from Germany) Course Director to assist him in supervising the participating dentists in the Beginner's Dental Implant Course. My role was to ensure the participants obtained the right guidance and ensuring it is a smooth learning experience. Also I had to assist the Oral Surgeon to select the appropriate cases for the participants and it was an enjoyable learning experience for me too. Thanks to Trinon Collegium for your invitation!
