Dental Fillings

Dental Fillings essentially restore the form and shape of a tooth, especially closing off spaces where bacteria can enter. The procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia and therefore it is a painless procedure. Your tooth decay will be removed and the tooth cleaned, followed by placement of the filling material into the cavity.

The benefit of fillings, is that it can also help prevent further decay. Common materials used for fillings include composite resin & Glass-Ionomer (tooth-coloured fillings).
