A dental implant is a titanium post (like a tooth root) that is surgically positioned into the jawbone beneath the gum line that allows us to mount replacement tooth or teeth into that area. These are finally restored with a Crown or a Bridge. Implants can also be used for denture retention to improve stability of the denture making your life more comfortable.
